Connect Capydose with Apple Health
Bring weight and activity context into your tracking routine with optional Apple Health access. Capydose reads supported categories; it does not write medication or health records back.

Context in your local record
Only categories you permit are available. This integration does not provide two-way synchronization, Apple Health medication import, a cloud backup, or a shared clinician portal.
Set up the connection
- Open Capydose Settings and choose the health connection option.
- Review the iOS permission sheet. Allow only the supported categories you want Capydose to read: weight, steps and active energy.
- Check that the source records exist in Apple Health for the day you are reviewing.
- Return to Capydose and review the imported context. You can keep using manual entries if you decline access.
- To change access later, use Apple Health or iOS privacy settings. Deleting Capydose records does not delete the source records in Apple Health.
When a number is missing
| Check | What to do |
|---|---|
| Permission | Check whether Capydose is allowed to read that category. iOS may not distinguish denied access from an empty result. |
| Source data | Open Apple Health and confirm a record exists for that date. |
| Category | Sleep, blood glucose and medication records are not part of this integration. |
| Manual option | You can record weight manually without granting health access. |
A practical use case
If you already record weight in Apple Health, reading that category can reduce repeated entry. You can then review weight alongside your own dose and symptom notes. A shared timeline is context, not evidence that the medicine caused a change.
